  72. I have always loved the movie West Side Story. When I was a young girl, I would sing along with Natalie Wood. I would love to see your show with my daughter. We have been to shows at the Orpheum and I love to support the theater when I can. I took my kids to see the Nutcracker when they were little and my husband took me to see Phantom of the Opera. Such great memories. I always get goose bumps when I walk into the Orpheum. I feel charged with excitement. Always a great time when things are so hectic. You can go to a different world for awhile!

  73. The first song my musical husband ever sang to me was Maria. That was forty-three years ago and he is still singing it to me. So this has always been "our" musical.

  74. Love this musical. I have only ever seen the movie but watched Debbie Allen on the Tony's when I was little and tried to emulate her and Chita. It's a dream of mine to perform it one day but have never seen the stage production. My husband is a Memphis Police officer and I'm a home health RN and we just don't have the money right now to buy tickets.

  75. I have been a Shakespeare nut since I was 8-years-old. I used to sit at my kitchen table with a book of his plays and a Shakespearean dictionary, so I could translate what I didn't understand. His stories are timeless and have been the inspiration for many wonderful musicals, movies, plays, etc. West Side Story has always been one of my favorites, and it was one of the first musicals I ever had an opportunity to attend. I was also cast as a dancer in my local high school production, though I wound up not able to participate. I would love an opportunity to see this production, since it will be the first time in 18 years I'll have had the chance to see it again.
